The Showboat

With his Medicine Hat markings, this little paint horse is a star, and well aware of his exceptional looks.

When it comes to getting attention at the fence or treats, he is first in line, and would prefer that he get all the carrots or apples. That is to say he can be a bit of a bully. After living with Flek for some time, he is paired up with Hopi, and the two of them generally get along well—as long as she knows her place!

Sundance is broke to ride, but despite a couple of off-farm stays for training, it turns out that there are limits to his suitability as a riding horse for the average person, as he apparently has only two gears: fast forward, and full stop. So he gets to enjoy his time just hanging out and enjoying the lush grass in the paddocks.

One day, after having a good nice roll in that grass, he twists his bowels, and the vet tells us to say goodbye.
